WHAT IS JUNIOR STAFF?
The Junior Staff Workforce Development Program (JSWDP) is a leadership program designed to promote teens from the ages of 16 to Seniors in College with employment in youth development in an effort of having them return to the community as mentors, tutors, and youth development leaders.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Junior Staff Career Development program equips youth ages 16-23 to enter the workforce and pursue their long-term goals through in-club, work-based learning, and professional development training.
Junior Staff are responsible for implementing the day-to-day operations of the after-school program, ensuring a safe, positive environment, implementing the schedule, and collaborating with the Club Director and/or Program Director. Junior Staff utilize curriculum for programming to plan, develop, and implement for our members.
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

Must be currently enrolled in high school, college or an accredited trade program

Cumulative GPA of 2.5 (or letter of recommendation)

Valid school, state or military-issued ID
-
A desire to change your community through leadership

Former or current members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County (preferred but NOT required)

Must obtain a MD State Work Permit if under the age of 18 (after hiring)
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in special programs and/or events.

Assume other duties as assigned.
