Triple Play.jpg

Triple Play strives to improve the overall health of members by increasing their daily physical activity, teaching them good nutrition and helping them develop healthy relationships. The Triple Play initiative, sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company and The Anthem Foundation, nurtures the minds, bodies and souls of Club members.

DIY STEM is a hands-on, activity-based STEM program for ages 9-12 that uses everyday materials to explore and reinforce science concepts taught in the classroom like engineering design, chemistry, energy/electricity, and aeronautics. This program is designed to promote interest in and awareness of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and provide STEM-related learning opportunities for members of all learning abilities and skill sets.

SMART Moves.png

SMART Moves is a suite of targeted programs and resources designed to help young people ages 6-18 develop emotional wellness through healthy decision-making, relationships, attitudes, and skills. This program includes SMART Girls and Passport to Manhood and would be run in conjunction with other BGCAA academic success or good citizenship/leadership programs.

The Million Hours of Service initiative encourages good character and appreciation for citizenship and provides every club member with year-round opportunities to engage in Club and community-based volunteer service experiences. Our hope is that if one million of our members give one hour per year, it will add up to one million hours spent by young people making meaningful changes in their communities.
