Junior Staff- Job Description

STANDARD POSITIONS AND DESCRIPTIONS

Front Desk Clerk Advisor- Duties included but are not limited to:

•Tracks daily membership of participants

•Answers Club Phones and relaying messages

•Directs Visitors and incoming members

•Keeps work area organized and safe

Computer and Technology Advisor-Duties included but not limited to:

•Supervises activities within computer lab

•Monitors viewing, safe usage and participation during computer lab time

•Assists with homework during Power Hour

•Delivers, monitor, and supervise area members during dinner

•Keeps work area organized and safe

Sports Programs and Recreation Advisor- Duties included but not limited to:

•Supervises recreational activities

•Monitors safe usage of recreational items and equipment

•Assists with homework during Power Hour

•Delivers, monitor, and supervise area members during dinner

•Keeps work area organized and safe

Teen Center Advisor- Duties included but not limited to:

•Supervises activities within the Teen Center

•Monitors safe usage of items and equipment

•Assists with homework during Power Hour

•Delivers, monitor and supervise area members during dinner

•Keeps work area organized and safe

Arts and Crafts Advisor- Duties included but not limited to:

•Supervises activities within the Arts and Crafts Area

•Monitors safe usage of items and equipment

•Assists with homework during Power Hour

•Delivers, monitor and supervise area members during dinner

•Keeps work area organized and safe

Special Programs Advisor- Duties included but not limited to:

•Assists Program Director with special programs and/or homework during Power Hour

•Completes administrative tasks assigned by Program Director (Making copies and running errands within clubs)

•Directs member off of bus and into designed area(s)

•Helps reset cafeteria area after dinner

•Ensures hallways and restrooms are clear of congregating members

EMPLOYMENT STATUS

Part-Time Regular

•Employees hired to work on a regular part-time status

•The JSCDP Member will be employed for 20 hours per week, 30 Hours per Week during Summer Sessions.

•Work schedules developed upon the need of the club
