Together we can improve the lives of Marylanders by ending hunger. The Maryland Food Bank, an affiliate of Feeding America, was founded in 1979 to coordinate the procurement and distribution of food donations from manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and government agencies to organizations providing free food to the state's hungry.

Severn Bank's commitment to serving this area exclusively started in 1980; when they pledged to provide their neighbors the best service for their business, home loan and personal banking needs. This commitment is the reason why Severn Bank has repeatedly ranked as the largest community financial institution in the area. "We are always here; for whatever you might need. You are more than just a customer. You are our neighbor."
